The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) commits to protect and maintain the privacy of the OPS Registration Website (hereafter referred to as the "Website") users and the security and confidentiality of information provided to this Website.

Collection of Information
The Website uses a monitoring tool to help analyze how users use the Website. The monitoring tool collects standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in anonymous form. The information generated by the tool about the use of the Website (including your IP address) is transmitted to the BSP. This information is then used to evaluate visitors’ use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for BSP. For security and audit purposes, the BSP may also collect the user's IP address and link it to the identity of a computer user. However, the monitoring tool does not collect sensitive personal information (as defined in the Data Privacy Act of 2012).
Submitted information required by the website to create a user account and obtain access such as user ID, password, company details and email containing personally identifiable information shall become part of the records of the BSP.

Use of Information
All information (may pertain to personal or company information) that will be collected through this system shall be used internally by the BSP for the purposes for which it was provided and shall be kept confidential.

Security/Protection of Information
The Website has in place appropriate security technologies in order to safeguard personal and firm-level data, its storage and its transmission.
OPS applicants are also strongly advised not to share their log-in information with any unauthorized person to ensure data security. Additionally, changing of password regularly and logging-out of the Website whenever leaving the computer are strongly recommended.

Employee Access
Access to Website’s administration application and database is limited to authorized and trained BSP personnel. Any person who breached the confidentiality of information will be liable under existing laws.
